The lay elders are volunteers who provide pastoral support for the parish and church members and are licensed by the diocese to perform the role. They are responsible for specific areas in the parishes of the Churches, and have regular training and support from the church.

They can be contacted via the office if you have any matters for prayer or would like to have someone to pray with you.
The elders also visit the elderly in care homes in the parish and take regular worship services there. They also take home communion to those unable to come to the church services.
